b) GDPR for the purpose of concluding, performing, and settling contracts, as well as enabling participants’ participation in events.

2. SELECTED DATA PROTECTION METHODS USED BY THE OPERATOR

  1. Login areas and places for entering personal data are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This ensures that personal data and login information entered on the website are encrypted on the user’s device and can only be read on the target server.
  2. The operator periodically changes its administrative passwords.
  3. To protect data, the operator regularly performs backup copies.
  4. An essential element of data protection is the regular updating of all software used by the operator to process personal data, which specifically includes regular updates of programming components.

3. HOSTING

  1. The website is hosted (technically maintained) on the operator’s servers: tilda.cc.

4. YOUR RIGHTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON HOW DATA IS USED

  1. In certain situations, the Data Controller has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary for the performance of a contract concluded with you or for the fulfillment of obligations incumbent on the Data Controller. This applies to the following groups of recipients:
  • Hosting companies under the terms of a data processing agreement
  • Payment operators
  • Authorized employees and collaborators who use the data to achieve the purpose of the website
2. Your personal data processed by the Data Controller will not be kept longer than necessary to perform activities related to it as required by separate regulations (e.g., accounting). Marketing data will not be processed for more than 3 years.
3. You have the right to request from the Data Controller:
  • Access to your personal data
  • Rectification of your personal data
  • Deletion of your personal data
  • Restriction of processing
  • Data portability
4. You have the right to object to processing under point 3.3(c) regarding the processing of personal data for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, including profiling. However, the right to object cannot be exercised if there are important legally justified grounds for processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, in particular for the establishment, enforcement, or defense of legal claims.
5. You have the right to lodge a complaint regarding the Data Controller’s activities with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
6. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to use the Website.
7. Automated decision-making, including profiling, may be carried out with respect to you for the purposes of providing services under a concluded contract and for the Data Controller’s direct marketing purposes.
8. Personal data is not transferred to third countries as defined under data protection law. This means that your data is not sent outside the European Union.

5. INFORMATION IN FORMS

  1. The website collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if such data is provided.
  2. The website may record connection parameters (e.g., timestamp, IP address).
  3. In some cases, the website may store information that facilitates linking data submitted in a form with the email address of the user completing the form. In such cases, the user’s email address appears within the URL of the page containing the form.
  4. Data provided in a form is processed for purposes resulting from the function of the specific form, e.g., for handling a service request, business contact, service registration, etc. In each case, the context and description of the form clearly indicate its purpose.

6. ADMINISTRATOR LOGS

  1. Information about users’ behavior on the website may be logged. This data is used for the purpose of administering the website.

7. KEY MARKETING TECHNIQUES

  1. The operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic through Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA). The operator does not transfer any personal data to the service provider, only anonymized information. The service relies on the use of cookies on the user’s device. Regarding information about user preferences collected by Google’s advertising network, users can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
  2. The operator uses remarketing techniques, which allow advertising messages to be tailored to user behavior on the website. This may give the impression that personal data is used to track the user; however, in practice, no personal data is transmitted from the operator to advertising service providers. The technological condition for such activities is that cookies are enabled.
  3. The operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This technology enables Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) to know that a registered user is visiting the website. In this case, it is based on data for which Facebook itself is the controller; the operator does not provide any additional personal data to Facebook. The service relies on the use of cookies on the user’s device.
  4. The operator uses solutions that analyze user behavior through heatmaps and session recordings. This information is anonymized before being sent to the service provider, so it does not reveal the identity of any individual. In particular, entered passwords and other personal data are not recorded.
  5. The operator uses solutions to automate website operations with respect to users, e.g., sending an email to a user after visiting a specific page, provided the user has consented to receive commercial correspondence from the operator.
  6. The operator may use profiling as understood under data protection laws.

8. INFORMATION ABOUT COOKIES

  1. The website uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the end device of the website user and are intended for use on the website. Cookies typically contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the device, and a unique number.
  3. The entity placing cookies on the user’s device and accessing them is the website operator.
  4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
  • Maintaining the user’s session on the website (after logging in), so that the user does not have to re-enter login credentials on every page of the website;
  • Achieving the purposes specified above in the section “Key Marketing Techniques.”
5. Two main types of cookies are used on the website: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files stored on the user’s device until logging out, leaving the website, or closing the browser. Persistent cookies are stored on the user’s device for the period specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the user.
6. Web browsing software (browser) usually allows cookies to be stored on the user’s device by default. Website users can change these settings. Browsers allow cookies to be deleted and also allow automatic blocking of cookies. Detailed information on this is provided in the help or documentation of the browser.
7. Restrictions on the use of cookies may affect certain functionalities available on the website.
8. Cookies stored on the user’s device may also be used by entities cooperating with the website operator, in particular by companies such as Google (Google Inc., USA), Facebook (Facebook Inc., USA), and Twitter (Twitter Inc., USA).

9. MANAGING COOKIES – HOW TO GIVE AND WITHDRAW CONSENT IN PRACTICE?

  1. If a user does not wish to receive cookies, they can change their browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies necessary for authentication, security, or maintaining user preferences may make it difficult, and in extreme cases impossible, to use the website.
